Answer to Prayer

So…I’d been feeling mentally exhausted over the past few days from studying for finals, and finishing up papers and larger assignments, etc. I prayed and asked God to somehow give me a break so that I wouldn’t be killing myself over my first semester exams.

And guess what? God was faithful AGAIN!!!!!!!!

My pre-calculus teacher, which I have his class from 8-10 am every week, Monday to Thursday, suddenly announced that he’s canceling class tomorrow and Thursday!! In other words, I get to rest more and have a couple more hours to “un-stress” myself in the morning!!

Praise God!!! ^^

And let’s just say, I already have what I’m going to be doing during that time more or less planned out. God gets priority since he gave me this break in the first place, so I’m going to spend that time having my quiet-time! ^^ I’m already looking forward to it.

Of course, if I have some time left over, I’ll have to use it to practice for Jr. Fest (especially since my teacher just had me change songs a few days ago, and I don’t even have the full music yet. I currently only have the first page to work with, and it already looks hard…T-T)

Band Camp!

I finished Band Camp two weeks ago!

I actually wasn’t going to be able to go b/c it costed $275 to go as a commuter (i didn’t stay at the dorms like everyone else) so it was a miracle that I was able to go at all! My piano teacher, Ms. Reiko Schoen (who is amazing btw) gave me this sheet so that I could apply for a scholarship that would allow me to go to the camp. So, I applied, and surprisingly got in!

Getting to play my flute again (in terms of band music) for the first time in like… 2 years, was great! I was actually really nervous during auditions, (we had auditions to show which ‘chair’ (placement/rank) we were in our section, but by God’s grace, I got first chair! The concert went really well, and I was really glad that I went

CONCERT!!

This is absolutely insane!! We have a Gold Cup concert on May 4th, and we have ANOTHER concert on the 9th!! What is this world coming to? Aghh!!!!!!!!

I’m playing “Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven on May 4 and the 9th!
